Connecting your Stripe account to GrowthOptix enables you to sync your revenue data in real-time and unlock accurate metrics, including MRR, ARR, subscriptions, customers, churn, and growth trends. All in one place.
This guide walks you through the Stripe connection process step by step inside GrowthOptix.
Step 1: Start the Stripe connection.
From your GrowthOptix dashboard, begin by connecting your first revenue source.
Go to Smart Revenue Analytics โ Get Started.
Under Billing Systems, locate Stripe Integration.
Click Connect.
GrowthOptix will redirect you to Stripe to securely authorize the connection.
Step 2: Sign in to your Stripe account.
On the Stripe authorization screen:
Enter the email address associated with your Stripe account.
Click Continue.
Log in if prompted.
You can use the same email address you already use for Stripe.
Step 3: Authorize GrowthOptix access.
Stripe will ask you to authorize GrowthOptix to access your data.
GrowthOptix uses read-only access.
No payments, refunds, or account changes can be made.
Your credentials are never stored.
Confirm the authorization to continue.
Step 4: Sync your historical revenue data.
Once authorization is complete, you will return to GrowthOptix.
Depending on the size of your account, this process may take 10โ50 minutes or longer.
Step 5: Data processing in progress.
After syncing, GrowthOptix will process your data to properly classify:
Payments.
Subscriptions.
Customers.
Invoices.
Products.
During this stage, some metrics may not be fully available yet. This is normal.
Step 6: Currency conversion.
Once data processing is underway, GrowthOptix will apply currency conversion to ensure all your Stripe revenue is displayed consistently.
Transactions in different currencies are converted automatically.
A unified reporting currency is used across all metrics.
This step ensures accurate MRR, ARR, and growth calculations.
No action is required from you during this step.
Step 7: Stripe successfully connected (Dashboard view).
Once all previous steps are completed, your Stripe account will be fully connected.
You will now see your Stripe-powered revenue metrics inside the GrowthOptix dashboard, including:
MRR & ARR.
New subscriptions.
Churned revenue.
Growth rate.
From here, your data will continue syncing automatically in real time.
What happens next?
Your Stripe data refreshes automatically (every 30 minutes).
You can add additional revenue sources at any time.
You can create blends combining Stripe and PayPal if needed.
