By default, GrowthOptix uses Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+0) to process and display your revenue metrics.
This standard ensures that all users across different locations get consistent and reliable data, especially when combining data from multiple sources like Stripe and PayPal.
However, we know how important it is to view your metrics in your local business time, whether you’re running reports, tracking daily revenue, or reviewing customer activity.
That’s why GrowthOptix now supports local time zone configuration directly from your account settings.
How to Set or Change Your Time Zone
Users with a GrowthOptix account can change their time zone settings in just a few steps:
Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to your Profile Icon in the top-right corner and click on settings.
Navigate to the Data tab.
Click on Set Time Zone.
Choose your preferred time zone from the dropdown list and click on Apply Time Zone.
Click on Accept.
Once confirmed, the new time zone will be applied across your entire GrowthOptix account.
Important: You Can Only Change It Once
Each user can only update the time zone once from their settings.
If you need to change it again in the future, you’ll need to contact our support team at [email protected].
What Happens Behind the Scenes
After applying your preferred time zone:
All metrics, including revenue, churn, trial events, and MRR, will be adjusted to reflect your local time.
Daily resets for reporting will align with your selected time zone.
Historical data will also be recalibrated accordingly for consistency.
Why This Matters
Setting the right time zone allows you to:
Run accurate daily, weekly, or monthly reports.
Align metrics with your internal team schedules (finance, sales, operations).
Understand customer behavior and churn in the context of your operating hours.
Synchronize reports across brands or regions working in different time zones.
Recap
GrowthOptix used as default to UTC+0 for all metrics.
Now, you can manually configure your time zone via the Account Settings > Data tab.
This change affects all metric timestamps in your dashboards
You can only change your time zone once. Contact support if you need another change
