When you first log into GrowthOptix, you’ll land on one of the dashboards.
If this is your first time using the platform, it’s normal to have questions like:
What am I looking at?
Why are some numbers empty or low?
Which dashboard should I start with?
What Dashboards Represent in GrowthOptix.
Dashboards in GrowthOptix are designed to answer specific business questions, not just display raw data.
Each dashboard is powered by the data you connect or track, such as:
Payment gateways (Stripe / PayPal).
The GrowthOptix Tracking Script.
Marketing platform integrations.
Until those data sources are active, some dashboards may appear partially empty, and that’s expected.
The Two Main Dashboard Areas.
GrowthOptix offers dashboards across two core products:
Smart Revenue Analytics.
Focused on financial and subscription data. These dashboards show:
Revenue and MRR.
Customers and subscriptions.
Growth and churn trends.
They become active once you connect Stripe and/or PayPal.
Marketing Attribution.
Focused on traffic, conversions, and marketing performance.
These dashboards show:
Visits and clicks.
Events such as leads, signups, or sales.
Performance by landing page, device, geography, and source.
They become active once:
The GrowthOptix Tracking Script is installed.
Events are defined and firing.
Why Some Dashboards May Look Empty at First.
If you’re just getting started, you may notice that some metrics are zero or missing. This usually happens because:
A data source has not been connected yet.
The tracking script is not installed.
Events have not been configured.
The selected date range does not include any data.
This does not mean something is broken.
As you complete setup and real user activity occurs, dashboards will start filling automatically.
How to Read the Home & Overview First.
A good place to start is the Home & Overview dashboards.
The Home or Overview dashboard helps you:
See high-level trends.
Understand whether data is flowing.
Identify which product areas are already active.
Once you see data in the Home or Overview, you can drill down into more specific dashboards.
How the Dashboards Work Together.
Dashboards in GrowthOptix are connected.
A typical flow looks like this:
Start in Home to understand how your revenue metrics are performing.
Move to Marketing Attribution dashboards to see where users come from and how they convert.
All dashboards use the same underlying data, just viewed from different angles.
What You Should Do First.
If this is your first session in GrowthOptix, focus on these steps:
Confirm your payment gateway is connected (for revenue data).
Install the GrowthOptix Tracking Script (for traffic and events).
Define at least one conversion event.
Return to the dashboards after some real activity occurs.
You don’t need to configure everything at once.
Good to Know.
Dashboards update as new data arrives.
You can change the date range at any time.
Different dashboards may show different metrics depending on which products are active.
Seeing empty states early on is normal.
What’s Next?
Once your dashboards start showing data, you can:
Explore individual dashboard views in more detail.
Compare performance over time.
Connect marketing spend to real revenue.
If you’re unsure whether your setup is working correctly, check the article Why some metrics may show zero values.
