When Should I Start Seeing Data in GrowthOptix?

After setting up GrowthOptix, it’s normal to wonder when your dashboards will start showing real data.

The timing depends on what you’ve connected and how your setup is configured.

What affects when data appears.

You’ll start seeing data only after GrowthOptix receives information from at least one source.

Smart Revenue Analytics

You’ll see data once you:

  • Connect Stripe and/or PayPal.

  • Have real transactions occurring in those platforms.

Revenue data usually starts appearing shortly after the integration is connected, depending on the activity in your billing platform.

Marketing Attribution

You’ll start seeing data once you:

  • Install the GrowthOptix tracking script.

  • Create at least one event (signup, lead, sale, etc.)

  • Have users visiting your site and triggering those events.

If no visitors or events occur yet, dashboards may remain empty.

Is it normal to see empty dashboards at first?

Yes. This is expected.

Common reasons include:

  • No data source connected yet.

  • The tracking script is installed, but no traffic has occurred.

  • Events are created but not yet triggered.

  • Not enough time has passed for data to be collected.

GrowthOptix does not generate sample or fake data. Dashboards only populate once real data is received.

How long does it usually take?

  • Revenue data: as soon as transactions happen after connecting Stripe or PayPal.

  • Attribution data: as soon as visitors interact with your site and trigger events.

In some cases, it may take a few hours or days, depending on traffic volume and activity.

What should I do if I don’t see data?

If dashboards are still empty:

  • Double-check that integrations are connected.

  • Verify that the tracking script is installed correctly.

  • Confirm that events are created and firing.

  • Make sure real user activity is happening.

If everything is set up correctly, data will appear automatically.

Good to Know.

  • In Marketing Attribution, some metrics can appear by connecting ad platforms like Google Ads, Meta, or Bing, even before installing the tracking script.

  • These integrations can provide data such as campaign context and marketing spend, allowing you to see partial insights.

  • However, to unlock the full potential of Marketing Attribution, it is strongly recommended to:

    1) Install the GrowthOptix tracking script, and

    2) Configure conversion events.

  • Combining integrations with the tracking script and events enables accurate attribution, conversion tracking, and ROI calculations.

  • The volume of real user activity also matters. Lower traffic or fewer conversions will result in limited insights, while higher volume produces clearer trends.

  • GrowthOptix does not generate sample data; dashboards reflect only real activity from your setup.
