Ad platform data in GrowthOptix is updated periodically throughout the day, depending on how each platform’s API provides data.
Most advertising platforms refresh and expose new data in batches, not in real time.
GrowthOptix retrieves that data during scheduled sync windows once it becomes available.
Why Ad Platform Data is Not Real-Time.
Advertising platforms control when and how performance data is released through their APIs.
Because of this:
Clicks, impressions, and spend may appear with a delay.
Conversion data can take additional time to be attributed.
Metrics may be adjusted by the platform after initial reporting.
GrowthOptix can only sync data after the ad platform publishes it, which means short delays are expected and normal.
What This Means For Your Dashboards.
You may notice that:
Recent campaign activity does not appear immediately.
Metrics such as clicks, impressions, or spend update gradually.
Conversion and attribution data may lag behind traffic.
This behavior is expected and does not indicate an issue with your integration.
As platforms finalize their reporting, GrowthOptix updates your dashboards automatically.
How Ad Data Works With The Script and Revenue.

The Script captures first-party events and conversions.
Stripe and PayPal provide real revenue data.
Together, these data sources allow GrowthOptix to connect marketing activity → conversions → revenue, even if ad platform data updates with a delay.
Historical Data Sync.
When you connect your advertising platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta, or Microsoft Advertising, GrowthOptix automatically retrieves up to 3 months of historical data.
This historical data includes metrics such as impressions, clicks, and spend, depending on the platform.
After the initial sync, ad platform data continues to update daily, as new data becomes available through each platform’s API.
