Deleting your account is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
This process is different from canceling your subscription. Canceling stops billing, while deleting removes your account and data from GrowthOptix systems.
Canceling vs. Deleting Your Account
It’s important to understand the difference between canceling your subscription and deleting your account.
Canceling your account means:
• Your subscription billing stops.
• Your access to the platform ends.
• Your data remains stored temporarily in case you return.
Deleting your account means:
• Your account is permanently removed.
• All stored analytics, integrations, and historical data are deleted.
• The action cannot be reversed.
If you only want to stop billing, you should cancel your account instead of deleting it.
How to Request Account Deletion
To permanently delete your GrowthOptix account, you must submit a deletion request.
You can request account deletion by contacting the GrowthOptix team through:
• The in-app chat inside the platform.
• The GrowthOptix support email. ([email protected])
Once your request is verified, our team will process the deletion and permanently remove your account and associated data.
What Happens When Your Account Is Deleted
When an account deletion request is processed:
• Your GrowthOptix account is permanently removed.
• All analytics dashboards and reports are deleted.
• Connected integrations (Stripe, PayPal, and marketing platforms) are disconnected.
• Historical data and stored analytics are erased from GrowthOptix systems.
Because this action permanently removes your data, account deletion cannot be undone.
Data Retention Policy
If a user cancels their subscription but does not request deletion:
• Their account may remain stored for a limited period of time.
• This allows users to reactivate their accounts and recover their data.
Accounts with no activity for an extended period (typically up to 2 years) may be automatically removed in accordance with GrowthOptix data retention policies.
This approach follows common SaaS data management practices while giving users the flexibility to return.
Before Requesting Deletion
Before requesting account deletion, we recommend:
• Exporting any data you may want to keep.
• Confirming that you no longer need access to your analytics history.
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
