Can GrowthOptix modify or edit my data?

No. GrowthOptix cannot modify, edit, delete, or alter your data in any way.

GrowthOptix operates with read-only access to your connected data sources, such as Stripe, PayPal, and Marketing Platforms.


This means we can read and process your data, but we cannot change it at the source.

What “read-only access” means.

When you connect a data source to GrowthOptix:

  • We retrieve data securely using official APIs.

  • We do not have permission to create, edit, or delete transactions.

  • We cannot change subscriptions, customers, invoices, or payments.

  • All actions remain fully controlled by you inside Stripe, PayPal, or the original platform.


Why GrowthOptix may show different numbers.

If you notice differences between GrowthOptix and another tool, this is usually due to:

  • Timing differences (data refresh cycles).

  • Attribution logic (especially for marketing data).

  • Currency conversion or normalization.

  • Filtering or aggregation rules.

These differences come from how data is interpreted, not from any modification of the original data.


Your credentials are never stored.

  • GrowthOptix does not store your Stripe or PayPal passwords.

  • Connections are handled via secure OAuth authorization.

  • Access can be revoked at any time directly from the source platform.


In summary.

  • GrowthOptix is read-only.

  • Your data remains fully owned and controlled by you.

  • Any changes to your data must be made directly in Stripe, PayPal, or the original platform.
