What Happens to My Data if I Stop Paying or Cancel my Subscription?

If you stop paying or cancel your GrowthOptix subscription, your data is not deleted automatically.

GrowthOptix is designed to preserve your historical data unless you explicitly request account deletion.

If you cancel your subscription but keep your account.

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Your account remains accessible.

  • Your historical data is preserved.

  • Dashboards may become read-only or limited, depending on your plan.

  • No new data may be processed, depending on the product and plan status.

If you decide to resubscribe later, your existing data will still be available.

If your subscription lapses due to non-payment.

If a payment fails or your subscription becomes inactive:

  • Your data is not immediately removed.

  • GrowthOptix may pause data processing or updates.

  • Historical data remains stored during this period.

You can usually resume your subscription without losing past data.

If you request full account deletion.

Only when you explicitly request account deletion:

  • All associated data is permanently removed.

  • This action is irreversible.

  • Historical metrics and records cannot be recovered.

Data is never deleted automatically due to inactivity or cancellation alone.

Important clarifications.

  • GrowthOptix does not delete data without your consent.

  • Canceling a subscription is not the same as deleting your account.

  • Data retention policies apply as long as the account exists.

In summary.

  • Canceling or stopping payment does not delete your data.

  • Historical data remains available unless you request deletion.

  • You stay in control of your data at all times.

If you have questions about your subscription status or data access, you can always reach out via the in-app chat, and we’ll be happy to help.
