Common Reasons An Integration May Stop Syncing.
An integration may pause or stop syncing due to:
Authorization being revoked or expired on the source platform.
Changes to permissions or API access in the connected account.
Temporary outages or API limits on the third-party platform.
Account changes such as plan downgrades or access restrictions.
Manual disconnection from GrowthOptix settings.
In most cases, the issue is related to authorization or permissions.
What To Check First.
Before taking further action, verify the following:
The integration still appears as connected in GrowthOptix.
Your account is active and has permission to access integrations.
The source platform (Stripe, PayPal, or ad platform) has not revoked access.
There are no warnings or notices displayed in the integration settings.
These quick checks often identify the issue immediately.
Reauthorizing The Integration.
If authorization has expired or been revoked:
Disconnect the integration from GrowthOptix.
Reconnect it using the official authorization flow.
Confirm that permissions are granted during the process.
Once reauthorized, GrowthOptix will resume syncing new data automatically.
What Happens To Your Existing Data.
If syncing is interrupted:
Previously synced data remains available in GrowthOptix.
No historical data is deleted.
New data will resume syncing once the connection is restored.
GrowthOptix does not overwrite or remove existing records when a sync is paused.
When To Contact Support
If syncing does not resume after reauthorization, or if data appears incomplete:
Take note of when the issue started.
Identify which integration is affected.
Contact us via the in-app chat so our team can review the connection.
Some cases may require a manual review depending on the platform and API behavior.
Why This Matters
Understanding how to respond to sync interruptions helps you:
