The Event Is Firing, But Not Classified As A Conversion.
An event can fire correctly but still not appear in dashboards if:
The event is not configured as a conversion-type event (lead, sale, upsell).
The event is classified as a custom or informational event.
The event does not meet the conditions required to count as a conversion.
Only eligible event types are included in conversion-related metrics.
The Event Is Missing Required Data.
Some events require additional data to be counted correctly:
Revenue events may require a valid amount and currency.
Attribution may require source or session context.
Events missing required properties may be ignored for reporting purposes.
If required data is missing, the event may fire but not be reflected in dashboards.
Attribution Context Is Not Available.
For Marketing Attribution dashboards:
The event must occur within a valid session.
The GrowthOptix Tracking Script must be installed and running correctly.
Attribution parameters (such as source, medium, or campaign) must be present when applicable.
If the event fires outside a tracked session, it may not appear in attribution views.
The Event Occurred Very Recently.
In some cases:
Events fire correctly, but dashboards have not refreshed yet.
Data may appear after the next sync or processing cycle.
This is expected behavior, especially for near real-time tracking.
The Event Was Modified Or Deleted Previously.
If an event was recently:
Modified in the tracking script.
Renamed or reclassified.
Deleted and replaced.
Then dashboards may reflect only new occurrences under the updated definition. Older event logic will not be retroactively applied.
How To Troubleshoot.
If an event is firing but not appearing:
Confirm the event type and configuration.
Check whether required properties are being sent.
Verify the tracking script is active and loading correctly.
Allow time for data processing.
Review recent changes to the event definition.
