Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open the UTM Manager in GrowthOptix
Log in to your GrowthOptix account.
Navigate to the UTM Manager located at the left-bottom of the platform and click Create UTM.
From there, click Create UTM to generate a new tracking link.
GrowthOptix includes predefined templates for several advertising platforms.
Select LinkedIn from the available options.
Step 2: Copy the Generated Tracking Parameters
Once the LinkedIn template is selected, GrowthOptix will automatically populate the correct tracking parameters.
These parameters help GrowthOptix identify where traffic is coming from and attribute campaign performance correctly.
Click Copy to Clipboard to copy the generated parameters.
Then click Save so you can access the link again later if needed.
Finally, you will see the LinkedIn UTM you just created.
Step 3: Open LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Next, log in to your LinkedIn Ads account and navigate to Ads Campaign Manager, which is where LinkedIn advertising campaigns are managed.
Step 4: Open Account Settings.
Inside Campaign Manager, go to Account Settings and scroll until you find the section called URL Parameters.
This section allows you to configure tracking parameters that apply to all ads in the account.
Step 5: Paste the Tracking Parameters
Paste the parameters you copied from GrowthOptix into the URL Parameters field.
Once pasted, click Save.
LinkedIn will automatically apply these tracking parameters to all ads within the account.
Tracking Is Now Enabled
Once this setup is complete, traffic from your LinkedIn Ads campaigns will include the UTM parameters needed for GrowthOptix to correctly attribute visits and conversions.
This data will automatically appear in the Marketing Attribution dashboard, allowing you to analyze campaign performance across channels.
