Adding a data source allows GrowthOptix to import the data required to power your dashboards, analytics, and attribution insights.
A data source is any integration that connects your business data to the platform. Once connected, GrowthOptix automatically syncs the relevant data and makes it available across your dashboards.
Depending on the product you are using, data sources may include revenue platforms or marketing platforms.
Types of Data Sources in GrowthOptix

These integrations power the Marketing Attribution dashboards.

What Happens After Connecting a Data Source
After you connect a data source:
• GrowthOptix begins importing data from the platform.
• The synchronization process may take a few minutes, depending on the size of the account.
• Once complete, the data will begin appearing across the relevant dashboards.
For example:
Revenue data will appear in Revenue Analytics dashboards.
Advertising data will appear in Marketing Attribution dashboards.
Important Note About Marketing Attribution
If you are connecting marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, or Microsoft Advertising, we strongly recommend installing the GrowthOptix tracking script on your website.
Platform integrations provide reported advertising metrics such as clicks and spend, while the GrowthOptix script tracks visitors, conversions, and revenue.
Using both together enables advanced analytics such as:
Conversion Rate.
ROI.
ROAS.
Attribution models.
Managing Your Data Sources
You can manage your integrations at any time from the Integrations section.
From there, you can:
• Connect new platforms.
• Review existing integrations.
• Disconnect data sources if needed.
Disconnecting a data source will stop future data synchronization.
